10th Prox. net Cash 11th (Invoices dated between the
first and twenty-fifth are eligible for 2% cash discount
if paid no later than the 10th of the following month,
net cash due 11th day of the month. Invoices dated the
twenty-sixth through the last day of the month are eligible
for 2% cash discount if paid no later than the 10th
of the second month following the date of invoice, net
cash due 11th day of the month.) Goods sold F.O.B. Destination,
Freight Prepaid, on shipments with net invoice value
of $1,000 or more. Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii are
Prepaid to U.S. port. Express shipments at customers
expense, Prepay & Add. 21st Century Companies, Inc.,
Dearborn Brass Division, reserves the right to select
the carrier and method of shipment. All Collect shipments
are F.O.B. Origin.
Returned Goods
We will accept returned merchandise only if permission
has been granted by the home office beforehand. A 25%
handling charge will be assessed on all returns of material
which are currently part of our product line and returned
in full carton lots. Credits will be issued at the lower
of the invoiced price or the current price.
Minimum
Order
We
have a minimum purchase basis of $75 net per order.
Orders for less will be subject to a $10 service charge.
Possession of this price list is not an offer from us
to sell. All orders are subject to acceptance by the
factory. Prices shown in this price list supersede all
previous issues and are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to invoice all merchandise at prices
in effect at the time of shipments. Any State or Federal
Sales or Excise Tax now or hereafter imposed for which
we may be liable on the sale, shall be charged to and
paid by the buyer.
Broken
Carton
Broken
cartons are not allowed for Dearborn, Chicago Specialty
or Hoov-R-Line items which should be ordered in multiples
of the standard pack. Product orders for less than standard
packs will be increased to standard carton quantities.
Claims
On
Prepaid shipments, claims must be made through Dearborn's
Customer Service Department. We recommend product be
inspected by purchaser immediately upon receipt with
any discrepancy being noted on carriers delivery receipt.
On Collect shipments, damage or loss claims must be
filed by consignee with delivering carrier. Dearborn's
liability ceases upon delivery of product in good order
to carrier or customer at our shipping points. Claims
for concealed shortages must be filed with Dearborn's
Customer Service Department within 10 days of receipt
of goods.
